Tennesseeans are FAT and UNHEALTHY!

The annual report today by the United Health Foundation finds that Tennessee is the second fattest state. Only Alabama is fatter! Tennessee was also the 7th most unhealthy of all the states.

Wow - not only do we have one of the worst education systems in the county we also have some of the most unhealthy people.

Way to go Tennessee!

Millions will have to repay part of tax credit

An article in the Chattanooga Times Free Press points out that more than 15 million taxpayers may owe the government $250 or more because of how the IRS last spring set up President Barack Obama’s tax break that was designed to help consumers spend the U.S. economy out of recession.

This was part of the Making Work Pay Tax Credit - it should be called the Making Work Pay (the Government) Tax Credit.

Vaccine Misinformants

The latest thing in the news is how people are not getting the H1N1 vaccine because they are scared it will harm them. The stupid thing is that this vaccine is just another version of the regular flu vaccine that millions of people get every year. I have had the flu vaccine every year for the last 15 years with no problems (and no flu).

Also, I recently read an article about how people are being misinformed about vaccines. Certain celebrities such as Jim Carey, and Jenny McCarthy are misinforming the public about the safety of vaccines. They are potentially costing others their lives. These have to be the most idiotic and moronic people in the world. Ask any pediatrician if they vaccinate their own children and their answer is going to be yes.

Also, one of the folks who works for me said she is not going to get the H1N1 vaccine because she heard it is dangerous - yet she smokes 2 packs of cigarettes a day and weighs 300+ pounds. WTF?

Oh by the way - Elvis is not dead, aliens are flying around in the sky and big foot lives in the Appalachians.

Don't be stupid - don't believe everything you hear - do your own research - or is it just easier for you to believe some stupid misinformed celebrity?

COLUMBIA, Tenn. — A man who authorities say previously was involved with bestiality pornography has been charged with animal cruelty.

Sheriff's investigators said Tuesday that 58-year-old James Michael Tait was having sex with horses on a Maury (MUHR'-ee) County farm. The farm owner, 44-year-old Kenny Thomason, also was charged with animal cruelty.

Investigators said they seized photos in the case.

Tait and Thomason are in jail. Court officials said they had no record of attorneys for the men.

King County, Wash., authorities say Tait in 2005 videotaped another man, Kenneth Pinyan, having sex with a horse. Pinyan later died of internal injuries from the incident.

The Washington investigators said they found about 100 pornographic bestiality videos of Tait and others. Tait got a suspended sentence on a trespassing conviction, and Washington later outlawed bestiality.
